About me

I am a fully qualified and accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and an accredited CBT therapist with the British Association of Behavioural Cognitive Therapies (BABCP) and adhere to their ethical frameworks.

As well as having my own private practice in Surbiton. I also work in the NHS  as a Senior Psychological Therapist and Supervisor and have experience in a range of other counselling settings including addiction support and workplace support.  

NHS - Senior Psychological Therapist

I work within the NHS providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Supervision for NHS Talking Therapies in Kingston.

 

Kingston Council - Workplace Counsellor

I have worked as a workplace counsellor at Kingston Council and supported clients with a wide range of difficulties.

A.S.C.A. - Addiction/Dependency Therapist

I have worked as a counsellor for ASCA in Richmond, where I supported clients dealing with the effects of alcohol and other addictions on themselves or a loved one.

 

I use an integrative approach and adapt my work to suit my clients needs at the time. I combine practical techniques, CBT as well as ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy) and CFT (Compassion Focused Therapy)  and 12 step work alongside other therapeutic counselling techniques, such as Transactional analysis and narrative therapy.

Post Graduate Diploma in CBT - Merit - (2019) Royal Holloway University

Mindfulness for Stress Reduction.

Prior to being a therapist I worked in corporate roles for 15 years.
